A new poem

Standing in the gallery
Looking up at what I see
How beautiful, how breathtaking
Standing in the gallery
All the colors, strokes, and lines
Movement, depth, before my eyes
It’s a work of art that I see
Standing in the gallery

What pain! What struggles kept untold!
The process that it took, for this art piece to unfold
What pain! For she would not let Him work,
Until He broke her down and created this new birth
That can be seen for all eternity
Displayed in the gallery

Oh how often did it seem
That there was no plan at all
In restoring the broken image
Shattered in the fall?

Dirty, soiled, worldly now,
Paradise lost, sorrow found
The image to be can’t be seen
Not yet in the gallery

What pain! What struggles kept untold!
The process that it took, for this art piece to unfold
What pain! For she would not let Him work
Until He broke her down and finished this new birth
That will be seen in eternity
On display in the gallery
